BakerBaird, a strategic communications and public affairs agency based in Nottingham has added to its roster of staff by bringing in an experienced NHS communicator and former journalist.
Sarah Matthews was news editor at the Nottingham Post, before spending several years working in NHS communications for Nottingham University Hospitals. She was responsible for both internal and external communications, including the rebranding of services, media relations, VIP visits and crisis communications.
Prior to that she had spent a decade working as a reporter on major regional newspapers. During this time she held several senior positions including health correspondent.
